Everyone has the power to create change. Every voice deserves to be heard.

You help us work alongside local leaders and listen to their voices. These are just a few of the voices of the people with whom you share health and hope.

María, Julio, Adahir, and Amaya González Rayo:

María: My husband and I have been a part of the AMOS community since I was pregnant with our little girl, Amaya. In fact, I found out I was pregnant at the clinic here! I started attending the pregnancy support group, and now we attend the Early Childhood Development group.

AMOS has taught us to be exemplary parents. Amaya is almost two years old, and everything we’ve learned here has helped her become strong and independent. She took her first steps here. She said her first words here. She loves when I read to her and teach her vowels. She likes to dance and sing.

Julio: Amaya is a happy little girl. Her energy encourages me as a dad. I have loved participating in the support groups because I feel present in my baby’s development. It empowers me to know we are on the right track.

María: After everything we’ve received from AMOS, I decided to get more involved and was trained as a volunteer Health Educator. I want to continue improving the quality of life of my community as much as I can.

Julio: When I see my wife working with AMOS, she is perfect to me. She is supporting something she loves and giving back to AMOS in gratitude for all that they’ve given our family.

María: If I had to describe AMOS in 3 words, I would say: love, family, and solidarity. And you make it possible.

To AMOS’ supporters: you are helping everyone in my community know that they matter.

Words can’t describe the love we have received from AMOS as a family and as a couple. It extends beyond us. It extends beyond the clinic, beyond the support groups for pregnant women, beyond the children and youth, to the whole community. God knows that this help is necessary and that this work must continue!
